Not only the name unites the members!
The members of the Dettling Family Community meet on various occasions and activities. On regular meetings of the managing-commitee, the upcoming events, the Family-Magazine and other organisational topics are planned and discussed.
Once a year we plan a family excursion to various places that are selected based on proposals by the members. Like this we want to bring together 'young' and 'old' and to tighten the personal relationships between our members. This is also an opportunity for non-members to exchange thoughts with our members and to get to know the community without any obligation.
Due to the considerable organisational effort, we invite to a big 'Family-get-together' every couple of years.
According to our regulations, with these activities we want to reinforce the sense of belonging together between the community members and all other bearers of our family name Dettling. Also, we want to promote the links to the Dettlings worldwide. Through this internet presence, we hope to get in contact with bearers of the name Dettling and those interested in it from around the globe.
